Mary Louise Mooney

Mary Louise Mooney made her acting debut in a Christian rock video, and shortly thereafter fled the wilds of Tennessee for the bright lights of New York, armed with only a boa constrictor and a dream. She is a longtime member of New York’s premier LGBT theater company, TOSOS (The Other Side Of Silence), where she created the role of Sabrina in Satan in High Heels.  A founding member of Abattoir Productions and Nonagon Theater and Film, she produced and starred in The Dreamer Examines His Pillow and multiple orgasms…and other things to know about relationships. She made her Off-Broadway debut in SisterMusic, and created the role of Bonnie Lee in Follies of Grandeur. Favorite roles include Fruma Sara in Fiddler, Philia in Forum, and Grace in Bus Stop. Ripley the snake retired from the stage after the Jesus Christ, Superstar incident.
